There are a lot of sophisticated workflows and dialogs (some of the most complicated dialogs I have seen!) used to automate, or at least streamline, tricky things like developing the path of a road, which has defined components (two lanes, boulevard, sidewalks, and daylighting grade) which optimally interacts with the existing grade.
